We headed to the Olympic Peninsula a couple weekends ago. I haven't been this direction since I was little. It's so beautiful! We've had a lot of sun so we thought it would be fun to treat our kids to a little adventure. We took the Seattle/Bainbridge ferry and headed to the Olympic Game Farm in Sequim, WA. We stopped at Sunshine Cafe for lunch which was delicious and kids under 12 eat free! Score!! At the farm you drive through with your own vehicle and feed the animals wheat bread as you go. It was so much fun and I would recommend this to anyone with or without kids.

Tibetan Yak
Llama

Another Yak
I like this picture because of their reaction

..and then there's me. In my defense this yak was burping
and every time it opened it's mouth it would slime me with it's slobber.

This one would hold it's mouth open
until it got a piece of bread.

Kodiak Bears
This bear was patient, he'd flash a smile and open his paws to catch the bread.

American Bison
These guys were intimidating. The pictures don't even show you how big they are.
If they see that you have bread they will charge at you. Dave would step on the gas at that point.

I convinced Dave to stop long enough to feed
one a piece of bread but we did it quickly.

Since the girls were stuck in the car seats for the majority of the time
we decided to stretch our legs for a bit before we headed home.
