A view of CenturyLink Field where the Seahawks and Sounders play and Safeco Field where the Mariners play.

The courtyard was actually really nice and kind of unexpected. I didn't get a good picture of it but it had flowers everywhere. Grass, benches and great views. Very relaxing. The helicopter landing pad is right there too. I was hoping for one to land while we were out there but it didn't, I guess that's a good thing.

The pictures below are from Kainen's latest surgery. He was in good spirits before hand...someone asked when they saw the picture if he had taken his "happy juice" and he hadn't! This is just how Kainen is and I love that about him. This is the first time that he didn't get sad and worried when parting ways with me. Makes it a lot easier.

He went in for a wound vac change and possible skin graft. It's crazy how quick they do the surgery but how long you have to wait. The actual surgery was less than a half hour but I was in the waiting room for at least 4 hours. They DID do the skin graft! Thank goodness! Which I don't know how they can do something like that so quickly. It took them a long time to put his new catheter in. He still has the one by his knee for his foot pain but they put a new one in on his lower right abdomen for the pain from his donor sight (where they took the skin from) and they also put a wound vac on again that he'll have for 5 days. It took him a really long time to wake up from anesthesia, I think because he was under for so long. When we got back to the room we got a wonderful surprise visit from the cutie pies below.

Kainen was feeling good after the surgery, it was the morning after that was a little rough. He was in a lot of pain so we had to do some tweaking with medication to get him comfortable. I'm not sure he's quite there yet but it's better. Oh, and his nerve catheter for his donor sight fell out the day after too but he hasn't had much pain there. Now, being 3 days (well it started yesterday, so 2 days) after surgery, we're having issues with his wound vac. There's a clog somewhere but it's holding suction on his foot so they're not going to mess with it right now and maybe take it off early tomorrow. I just have to deal with the alarm that goes off every 30 minutes. My night was not good last night and I imagine tonight wont be either.
One last thing, to catch you all up. Kainen lost his very first tooth bright and early this morning. He was so excited. Had the biggest smile. He said he wanted to wait until we got home to put it under his pillow but might change his mind later :)
