Oh what a wonderful day...

Kainen - January 28 2006 - 9 lbs. 2 oz.

Yesterday, I must say, is one of the best days. First off it was Kainen's 3rd birthday. My what a big boy he is. His birthday party isn't until Feb. 8th so I took him out this morning and afternoon. Nothing really special. Hopefully to him it was. He wanted to go to the park so we first stopped off at Starbucks since I knew I'd be sitting in the cold. I got my coffee and Kainen got his vanilla steamer which of course was gone in within the 3 minute drive from Starbucks to the park. When we got there it was deserted. Why, you ask, because of course this time of year everything is going to be wet. Kainen decided he wanted to go to the mall and play in the kids zone instead. Totally fine by me. Indoor = no cold breeze. He played for a while and then we decided to leave and he used his two quarters to get some candy out of the machines. We went home. Had lunch and then met Daddy for some ice cream (dad was at work). On our way home we went through the car wash, he'll always think we did this because it was his birthday :) He loved it. We hadn't done that in a while. We went home took a nap and it was time to pick up Dad from work. Now. Here comes the best part of all. We went straight to the hospital, gathered our things and BROUGHT MILES HOME!!! Could it have gotten better than that? Happy Birthday Kainen! We've been home ever since enjoying the 4th member of our family. Finally, at last, we have him to ourselves. Home.
