My precious girls are already one! It's bitter sweet. I feel like this year flew by and I missed or am already forgetting some major milestones that have happened. I'm looking forward to this next year though. Their toddler years! Eek! I might regret those words very soon.
On Sunday we had a birthday party for them. I managed to forget to put them in the pretty dresses I had set out but I guess since they made a mess I won't worry about it too much. The mess they made was very slow and thought out and not nearly as messy as I was expecting. Priya dug in a little more than Anya, as you can see by her face...by the way Priya is wearing black and Anya is wearing pink.
They both braced themselves with their toes (you can see in the family pic below) and held on for most the time. Cute.
The next day we went to buy their gift from us. Part of it was the baby dolls but they loved them so much we didn't even wrap them, we just let them be cute and play. The ball popper was the rest of our gift which they love but I think Miles loved it more. He can't keep his hands off it and totally takes over. Anya likes to dance to the music and they both like holding the balls to tap them together.
I still need to do my 1 year photo shoot so maybe I'll get out those dresses and put them to use. I'll post pictures soon.
