My Two Beauties

Priya is little miss personality. She likes to make herself known by yelling out real loud. She's always sitting upright and looking around taking in all her surroundings and everyone in them. She pants like a dog when you try and get her to say Mama or Dada or sometimes when she's excited. She makes silly faces and has the biggest most beautiful grin. 

Priya is very mobile. She went from rolling to scooting around in circles to the army crawl. She gets up in the push-up position, hands and tippy-toes, which eventually turns into the crawling position where she rocks back and forth. Kainen started crawling that way so I'm waiting for the day she takes off. I don't think I'm quite prepared for it.

Anya is much more easy going and to herself. She's happy staying focused on the toy in hand or watching her brothers do something silly. She recently started doing raspberries with her tongue or lips. So much that her shirt ends up drenched with saliva. She'll have her occasional outburst of excitement but mostly grunts and growls with whatever emotion that pops up. She, also, has a beautiful and contagious smile. 

Anya hasn't been as mobile yet. She rolls around and re-e-e-aches as far as possible to get what she wants. She just started getting up on her hands and knees but isn't too far from crawling either. She stretches her arms out when I get close enough to pick her up and will swing her arms up and down with excitement when I do. She's my little lover.

They both enjoy their snacks. A couple weeks ago I started giving them finger foods and it's rapidly turning into meals of different tastes and textures. That pureed baby food will soon be an afterthought. 

They both like the same two toys. The little blue horse with dangly feet that they insist on shoving the whole head or foot in their mouth. 

 And the jingle bell wooden monkey that Aunt Kristin gave to Kainen on his first Christmas. They like to suck on the bells (don't worry, I watch them like a hawk), I think because it collects there spit and turns into some sort of juicy goodness. Ew. These probably aren't the most sanitary toys. 

They're both sitting up unsupported and are starting to move forward to get onto their bellies or reach for toys which I take as another sing of being close to crawling. They both jibber-jabber between each other or to a toy. Occasionally they will laugh with each other. They often steal toys or binkies from each other. They are a good team though and I'm excited for the next few months as I know they will change drastically by the time they turn 1!!! Eeek!
