58 Toes: 4 months old

My have they grown! I'm starting to see the differences in each of them and learning their personalities.

Priya is the most active and outspoken. She has something to say about everything whether she's happy, sad, excited or angry...she will tell you. When she's having a quiet conversation with you it sounds like she saying a drawn out "I" over and over not changing her tone. I think my dad (the musician of the family) would be able to tell you the exact note she carries. She likes to sit up straight, not even leaning back a bit or she'll have something to say about it. She likes to rock her body back and forth slamming it on mine usually ending up putting herself to sleep. When she's awake she's very alert, eyes wide looking all around the room. She doesn't hold onto loose toys yet but will bat the ones hanging from her play mat and grab on to them to get a good look. She laughs when I blow raspberries on her belly or when I munch on her neck. She weighs (2 weeks ago) 12 lbs 15 0z and is 23 inches long.

Anya is much more mellow (if you notice in the pictures she has the same expression, she's not sad, just chillin') which is making it hard for me to get to know her. She will sit and stare and just kind of hang out with you. She will talk to you if you look at her and talk to her or if she's really wanting to tell you something. She'll lay quietly playing with her toys hanging above her. She also bats them around and will grab them when she wants a better look. She likes sitting straight up but doesn't rock back and forth unless she feels her sister doing it on my other knee. She laughs when my hand lightly brushes her armpit when I'm undressing her or when I tickle her ribs. She weighs (2 weeks ago) 13 lbs 7 oz and is 23 inches long.

They both give big happy grins when I, or anyone else, looks at them and makes eye contact. That, I think, is my favorite part. They are so sweet and happy, I couldn't ask for anything more.
