Sunshine!!!

I love sun. Yesterday was spent outside ALL DAY LONG! Dave and I took the boys to the Ballard Locks and watched all the big boats, small boats and everything in between pass through. We then ate lunch at Chinook's and had the traditional fish 'n chips and then walked by all the boats docked side by side so Kainen could see them up close. Then we drove over to Carkeek Park and played on the playground, walked down to the beach where Kainen threw rocks and splashed his feet in the water and ran up to the bridge to watch the Sounder fly by...I was hoping for a train that was a little slower and had more boxcars and freight cars to 'jump over'...I think Kainen was happy with the Sounder though. If we would have packed dinner we would have stayed to watch the sunset. Maybe next time. What a wonderful day it was! Can't wait to do it again!
